Mortgages

Helping you to buy your first home, renew you mortgage or invest in property

For most people taking out a mortgage will be the biggest financial decision that they make. Whether you are buying your first home, reviewing your current mortgage or looking to invest in property, we will guide you through the process with impartial, objective advice.

We enjoy helping first home buyers to seasoned property investors, those managing debts, and homeowners looking to change their situation. We can help you to get ahead and grow your wealth.

We’re here to help you make informed, forward thinking decisions. We offer a highly personalised mortgage, insurance and investment advice service that’s built on a wealth of industry knowledge and experience as well as advanced software and financial planning tools.

At Meta Financial, we:
  • Link to your bank or lender.
  • Present your mortgage application in the best light to give you the best chance of getting a loan.
  • Secure you a loan offer.
  • Negotiate interest rates and cash-back incentives.
  • Discuss mortgage structure options.
  • Work with you to implement a loan structure that saves you the most in loan interest, getting you debt-free quicker, and onto your long-term wealth building plans.

Mortgage advisers are paid by lenders when the home loan is drawn down.

Borrowers (that’s you) don’t pay anything to their adviser for a standard residential mortgage.

How it works:

We meet and discuss if and how we can help you.

Work out your goals, are they achievable now, or do we need to do other solutions?

We present our recommendations to you.

We apply to the bank/lender/insurer on your behalf.

We implement the solution.

We keep in touch and perform regular reviews.

Home Loan FAQs

Mortgage Advisers spend every day solving the problems you face. We know what all the banks are focussing on. Buyers can waste a lot of time going to banks that won’t suit their needs. We also know that sometimes a bank simply isn’t a good fit for you as a client. They can either decline you or make the terms so complex that you simply accept or give-up. We look at your situation and know where to place your application to achieve your goals

Mortgage Adviser’s will provide you with more than a loan approval. We craft a strategy to repay your home loan faster, and show when you’ll be debt free. We work out how much interest you will save while factoring in your lifestyle, hobbies, and personal situation. Unlike a bank, we are motivated to help you save money in loan interest, grow your wealth and enjoy your new home.

Our recommendation for your home loan is more in-depth than a simple conversation around the interest rate and your preference to fix or float. There is more complexity to the ideal loan structure which we determine by talking through your goals, future plans and our insights into the market and your financial situation. This will help guide you to the best interest rate and loan structure for you.

Almost all Meta Financial Solutions services are at no direct cost to you as we get paid a commission by the banks and other lenders when a mortgage is finalised or refixed. There are exceptions if you repay or discharge your mortgage earlier than 27-months. Also, specialist lenders may require a fee is added to the loan for our services. You’ll be made aware of these prior to agreeing to working with us if this is the case.

We believe so. We can review your current loan to determine whether it is still correct for you. If it’s not structured to save you the maximum in loan interest we will discuss a better structure and ensure you are with the right lender to achieve your financial goals. A 15-20 minute review could save years off your mortgage and hundreds of thousands in loan interest.
